Just after low tide and couple of kiters surfing the waves which looked big for light wind, and one windsurfer struggling. Kept to South end of bay away from big waves, but still got thrown by a 8 foot rogue wall on way out. Waves very nice, mostly shoulder high or bigger but I kep away from them and practiced sliding turns which are mostly OK if I comit to keep kite moving. Wind gusty as a bit E of S then lightned as it went more E so packed up after 1:20. Nice time. Steve L float and ride looked good.
Getting over pre-xmas sickness so missed big winds recently, but probably too much for me to windsurf.
